yes im talking about a calcium ractor and how will water get in it when its connected to the regulator it says to put water in it. the bubble counter is for the co2 so there is no water running through it.
Ok, mine is a different mechanism that is attatched to the reactor, but if the instructions tell you to fill it--that's what I would do--fill it w/ tank water.
You want the cleanest possible water in a bubble counter. RO/DI or distilled. Do not use SW or FW or water straight from the tap.
You could have algae or what ever going in you BC if you use water other than very clean water and I don't think you want to take it apart to clean it.
I read where people use oil in theirs. I can't recall if it was baby or olive oil. Water tends to evaporate but it really isn't that difficult. Turn off needle valve, open it up, add water, close.
