Okay guys, I was pondering the use of these things in a FO system (no LR) and was wondering if this arrangement would work:
I'd have 3-4 of these units (DIY) plumbed together in succession. The idea would be to create a near anaerobic zone in the last unit that was still fluized. The last unit would dump into a recirc skimmer to reoxygenate it. From there, the spill off could be run through carbon.
Do you think this idea would fly? If not, how could I utilize this idea in a functional manner?
