quick question, I just added a new pump to my skimmer, and a closed loop system, all of a sudden my tank is cloudy. I have to scrape my glass every day. its like when i first added the sand and substrate to my tank. the milky stuff is building up on my rock and returns. does anyone know

Sounds like the increased flow from the closed loop is kicking up the sand. It should calm down once the bacteria coat the sand, If not then you will need to re-direct the outputs of the closed lop.

Carlos,
Is it dust or could it be microbubbles? Take a rinsed glass and get a glass of water from your tank if you cannot tell. If it is microbubbles the cloudiness will go away as the bubbles escape. If it is cloudiness from something else it will stay and you can look at it closer. Is it light green in sunlight? Then it may be an algae bloom. Is it reddish-brown? Possible bacterial or cyano bloom. White? Possible bacterial and it is time to check other parameters like Ammonia (first), Nitrite (second) and then calcium and alkalinity numbers.
