Heyas guys,
I was sitting here the other day watching my new clowns clown around
and got to thinking on a few things. I braught the issue of Fundraising up with Mel and tossed her a couple ideas. With her encouragement I decided to bring the subject to the forums. Perhaps to get ideas rolling that would work, or to just chew the ****.
Essentially Membership is $2 a month, and even though Membership is increasing. I am sure there are things that Raising funds could help with. Even if they just help offset the cost of all the food braught to the meetings. Some ideas I had where topic hand-outs. Like a brief tips page that we can take home and use as a reference. Or cover the cost of one bumper sticker per Member type of thing. But the basic train of thought was to get the club working together on projects other then just 2 or 3 hrs a Month together that benefits the Hobby as well as the club as a whole.
Any thoughts, rants, or gestures (rude or otherwise) are encouraged on the Topic at hand!
