Hello, Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m setting up a 175gal bowfront with a 40gal sump and a 37 gal frag tank. The tanks will be heavy on the SPS corals, a few clams, and a few fish. No Sand, this will be a Bare Bottom system, some algae will be in the sump. The return from the sump will be around 1000gph.

In the Main tank Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m thinking of using four 6100 Streams on the 7095 controller. A stream on each end pointed toward each other and two in the deco rocks about 1ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ to 1.5ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ from the each end of the tank, close if not on the bottom pointed at the opposite top corner. Does this sound like a good plan?

Start with 2, you may not need 2 more. You can always add more so I would start with just 2 of them.

I have a 175 bow also and have 2 on the magnets. The amount of flow is amazing, as I cant even open them all the way up yet

Until you trie the power of two, dont get 4

the plan is two 6100's in the deco rocks. I may put on the wave box. I still have a lot of work before my tank is ready for water. Here is a pic of some goodies waiting to go to work.
