Foxface Rabbit fish with bump

I posted this in another area before this one! But my fish has a bump on the outside of it's mouth and appears to be on the inside as well. It has been there for about one week and is growing larger. There have been no recent changes except for the temp up to 81. I have had it for over a year now.

I cant really see the bump you are referring to but from a physician's perspective, anything increasing in size that quickly is likely to be an abscess/infection. Both tumors and cysts tend to grow much slower. I wonder if he ate something that injured the inside of his mouth? Also, do you have any venomous fish that might have invenomated him? My suggestion would be to try to treat in QT with Myracin 1 and 2 combined to cover both gram positive and gram negative bacteria.

Since yesterday is has gotten bigger, this started out as a tiny bump. It is hard to get a clear pic as the fish moves around so fast.

+1 here. You want to get the fish quarantined and treated before it grows much larger. Problems with the mouth are particularly dangerous and treating it early is key. Left too long and the fish might never eat again.
