Hi
I just cut a shaded branch of acrorora from the colony, i did not cut the coral itself, just the rock it was attached to.
I kept the colony in a tub of tank water, used gloves and a dremel with diamond wheel to cut through the stone.
The colony was out of the water for a maximum of 2 minutes
The colony is now back in the tank but seems to be expelling it's zooxanthellae.
Lot's of white stringy stuff from the tips.
What did i do wrong, do you think it will survive.
The tank lights are off now, they were on for 10 mins before regular nigh time turn off.
This is my first fragging experience.
The colony has only been in my tank for a weekm and seemed to be doing fine.
