Ya....I need some new corals :lol: So I can grow to frag and give to the newbies

COMAS/OMAS/SOMAS are gearing up for a "summer" frag trade. The actual date is to be announced. It could be any time though. It's still in the planning stages.

Also, if anyone has someone that they would like to trade with from COMAS, I can be your middle man. SOMAS might be a little far out of my way. But maybe someone form COMAS can be a COMAS/SOMAS liason. Maybe Paul (captbunzo)?

I have a couple neat zoo frags and can frag my montis. We'll just see what it turns into and if I can make it.

whatever is clever on our part! ive been keen on doing this for a while and have even went as far as to offer up our shop as a swapping spot. the other problem is how do you actually do the swapping what are the rules of the swap?i personally dont want to trade my acans,micros,blue torts etc etc for some zenia and green button polyps. any suggestions stony for stony or zo for zos ??!!and our shop is still up for use if needed.

Just an idea. In Utah, with the WMAS, they did frag swaps a few times a year as a regular meeting. They'd purchase a few softies, LPSs, SPSs, and a get a few 10gal tanks set up at the meeting. They'd actually have a fragging seminar, and show people how to do all the fraging, and then sell the frags $5 for members, and $10 for guests. Just an idea. This is a great idea btw, I'm sure I can find somethin to frag (I know everyone is tired of xenia, but that's probably it). If we decide to do the seminar, maybe going through scott or greg, we can get some large pieces cheap through wholesale!

Just an idea.

Perhaps it could be a state wide thing as well....

if you need some wholesale colonies for the club just let us know we will have no problem getting them and hopefully we can get something that is desireable but not to pricey so all will be interested and get involved!if there is not a meeting planned on fragging i would love to do the topic at one of the meetings if this is ok let me know and i will start getting a presentation preparred and we will provide most if not all of the corals needed for this subject!!??any suggestions!you big wigs(club officers) contact me if this sounds like a idea we can cover.
