Fragging Encrusting Monti

I have some encrusting orange monti that I want to frag. Is it as simple as take a razor blad and cutting the size piece that I want? Will it come right off the rock or is there more to it?

Its easier to use a Dremel for cutting encrusting or reef-building stonies.....

Okay, but could you go over the process or point me to a thread that does....I know there are tons of them for softies and stuff...

your going to have to use a dremel. your going to have to cut through the skeleton and the rock. it will take forever with a razor.

i use adremel with a diamond coated tile blade.try to find a good spot where there is little rock under the coral. cut from underneath the rock until you start to break through the flesh. then just snap off the piece.
