I am just set on fragging the cabbage coral at the mo so if there is any people willing to give a step by step guide to cutting and after care or anyone know a good site it would be much appreciated.

I'm with Marineco. I have a cabbage leather and would also be interested in fragging technique for this coral

just take a pair of scicors ( bad spelling ) and cut a chunk off. get a small peice of rock and a rubber band and atatch it to the rock in a few days it should be atatched . try and keep it in a med flow aria so its not moving a hole lot

cheers for that rock dos the mother plant mind me just cutting a bit off and if i do cut it off what size piece.

Hey all done some more lookin into it and took the plunge and snipped a bit about 2x2 off the mother. They both closed up at once but this morning the mother was open fully and had now signs of stress. the young one is doing well by the looks of him only it has not opened to its full size.

So ill give it a 10 out of 10 for not doing any harm to the mother frag. ill keep you guys posted.

James

propping cabbage coral is as easy as any other leather, just cut and glue, or rubber band and it will grow from your new rock in no time!
