I was meaning to post this earlier but I have a coral bandit shrimp free to anyone who wants it. First come first serve.

I am under the impression that these are not entirely reef safe, is this correct?

I have no idea. I don't have a reef tank. I do have snails and hermits in there with him with a couple of anemones and he doesn't bother them.

Yes they are reef safe but just watch em with other shrimp. I had to get rid of mine because he was going after my peps when they would invade his half of the tank. but again I had a small tank....

I have had one for years. entirely reef safe in my experience. I've never heard different, but YMMV
