Just changed some of the aquascaping in our tank to allow better flow and now we have about 1/2 5g bucket of leftover live rock. Most pieces are anywhere between the size of 1-2 fists (I can't think of a better analogy at the moment 
). The rock has been in a 5g bucket with a heater and powerhead for about the last 2 weeks.
