Friendly worms? Or Nasty Worms?

I am thinking I am having problems with some of my acro's. Whats the verdict?

What kind of damage are you seeing to the acro?

Can you get a pick of the critter on the acro?

Its not an AEFW. I would lean to red bug before AEFWs although I am not guessing that to be the case either

To be honest, I cant see anything on the corals. Maybe I am not looking hard enough. But the last piece I lost, looked great then was gone in 1-2 days.
 
i agree, looks more like a pod then a flatworm. definitely a crustation and i wouldn't blame them for the dead corals. i bet pretty much any small pods will die if put in iodine solution.
that is NOT red bugs!
 
I don't think it's any type of flatworm. My first thought was that it was some type of pod (suchh as a type of amphipod), but I am more guessing then anything else based on the shell I see in the pics and the pods and pod shells i see in my tank.

I also don't think it's red bugs. To me it just doesn't look like anything that I would consider harmful, but I could be wrong.

I actually just read something about nasty isopods and copepods too, where was that.... I can't remember much about the details though
