Friends Of Mantis!?

HI ALL
well ive got lotsa ? for everyone! first of all ill be usin a 35g hex aga with a remora skimmer with the mj1200 upgrade.will that be sufficient! also a 4"dsb with about 30 lbs of florida liverock! my lighting will consist of a 96w pendant with dawn dusk feature! how many powerheads will i need and what size for my mantis.
I also would like to know what other things i can put in with him that he wont kill! shrooms,softies,featherdusters,sps, etc.....
i will be usin a cleanup crew of just snails i know he'll wack them but i wont mind replacing them. will he bother sand sifters?
ill build a tunell network under the substrate for him to roam around and hide in. what kinda sand southdown or crushed coral.
ill be gettin a smasher since i live so close to where the sell florida live rock!any suggestions to species. iwant to be able to
see him wandering around the tank and not hiding all the time!

get an Odontodactylus. they are very colorful and active.

First of all your filter and tank and all is great mantis dont need a good filtration but urs will be very happy. If ur getting a smasher use crushed coral substrate and if spearer get sand. 4 inches is fine. Odontodactylus Scyllarus (peacock mantis) is a very colkorful and active mantis. I have 2 of em now and both are always moveing stuff and wondering around ull probally see it if u get that species. They mostly dont bother sand sifters as long as the sifters dont go near the mantis. Corals they dotn eat or bother but might nock em over. feather dusters... i dont know if u put it up high it preoablly wont bother it mine dosent go onto the top or rocks stays at the bottom of tank.
