frogspawn dying--help please

Hello,

I added some frogspawn to my tank about a week ago..it was doing really well, opening up and what not..then on Saturday within about 4 hours one of the four heads went from being fully extended to turning black and deflating, to essentially dead. Now the tissue is receding back from the end exposing the skelton. The other three heads still look fine.....? I checked the water and then brought some to the LFS to double check...everything is fine..

The closest coral is a hammer coral which is at least 3" away. Not sure what to do from here. I am guessing it is not a disease as it took the head down quickly and the other heads look fine, but I am a little concerned that the tissue is continuing to recede down the skelton?

Should I frag the other segments off and risk stressing the rest of the coral or see if it stabilizes and either leave that head uncolonized or frag at a later date....?

Also, any ideas on how this could happen so quickly and what the cause might be....?

Thanks!!!!
