I've had this frogspawn for about a month. It is in moderate current and some of its tentacles seem to extend three times as long as some of the others. Is there any such thing as sweepers on a frogspawn?
Sure. They will sting pretty much anything except other frogspawns. I have a patch of Anthelia that grows big, gets stung by the frogspawn, dies back, then repeats the process all over. it's done this dozens of times so far.
i have never seen the sweepers on my frogspawn, i check day and night, never seen em
any reason why? i feed it a piece of shrimp sometimes which it takes with its normal tentacles but never seen these long sweepers....

If they become a problem, you can just pinch them off, and throw the little piece away, because if you let it float around it can still sting things, and it normally ends up attached to a coral... Anyway, thats what I always do and I have never seen any ill effects.
