I have tested the water that the food thaws in before feeding and have found it to have phophates seems to me the ro/di Ibought is a waste. to make pure water and then fowl it with the food . are there other kinds that dont contain phosphates ?thanx for any help

I don't think there's any kind of food that doesn't contain phosphates. With seahorses, you don't have much choise other than frozen mysis anyway.

One thing you can do is to rinse the mysis in a brine shrimp net after thawing. That will remove the majority of the phosphates in the water.
