FS: (3) Cree LED bundles

I finished building my fixtures. I have some lights left over. I will sell them by bundle.

The bundle consists of (4) white Q4 (8) blue Q4

I found the 1:2 combo works best. It is something like a 11K with enough blue to make your corals really pop! I have not measured PAR on my tank, but boy are they bright. $60 per bundle making it $5 per LED, cheap! Take them all for $160.

Even my camera has a hard time getting a good picture ;)

A Mean Well LPC-35-700W is perfect for powering them. Small price to pay for not having to replace bulbs for the next 10 years. I can help if you are not DIY savy

I will take them whats your address and phone do you have some pic of the bundle you are selling ?

Dana - I thought about doing a write up, but I did a lot to it. I completely gutted out my 28g JBJ cube. Originally it was an HQI model. I know JBJ makes an LED model now. Personally, I don't think they did a good job with it. I have been told my hood is much cleaner and professional looking.

Polka - PM sent :)

No camera can capture the brightness of these little LEDs and the shimmer is just plain crazy! LEDs are the way to go now

I did 10 for a 5.5, so I could see 9 for a 3, but you'd have to dim. I'm pretty sure there's way too much overlap to run them even at 700mA. You'd roast anything but the most light-demanding acros. Hell with just 5 on the 5.5 I melted some yumas and made some zoos and hammers expel zooxanthellae...

I have 36 running my tank. You just have to acclimate slowly. I run them at 100% right now. It took about two months for corals to acclimate for a set of 12. I turned another set on after until I reached 36. 50/50 is not needed. 60/40 is ok, but much better than 50/50. My current ratio works great since I don't have to dim.
