FS: 4 foot hood with or without lights

I have not been able to sell the 75 gallon fish tank yet so I am going to try to sell the hood by itself or with the vho lights. The hood is 4 foot long meant to fit over a standard 75 or 90 gallon tank.

The hood alone would be $50

The hood with the 3 110W VHOs running of an icecap 430 would be $125
The hood has circular holes drilled for fans if you want. That is what the blue masking tape is covering. I had to make sure no one put anything in the tank. Thats why the tape is there.

3 110W VHOs with icecap ballast by themselves $75
2 white - one actinic

hard to tell from the pic but the locks could easily be removed and patched? im gonna paint if black for my 90. hope my halides will fit in it i might have to make my light a rentro fit kit of take a saw to the fixutre. it hangs over half inch on my tank

Yah you could easily patch the holes then sand the whole thing lightly to remove the shiny varnish and rough it up to accept the paint. I was contemplating doing that for a friend of mine. I might be interested in coral. Do you have any SPS?

So that means you dont want the VHO right?

i would need to measure but most likely i woundt need the vho. i could use it to supplment i guess but only could fit 2 manybe not 3.

sps i have, elkhorn monti, a few encrusting montis, small sunset monti frag, green with blue polyp monti cap, ora green birdsnest

lps, hollywood stunner chalice. like my avatar pic,

zoos- purple people eaters ( the real thing) polar ice, a few other cool ones...

ok..my tank is 48 1/2 by 18 1/2.. the mh fixture is 47 1/2 by 8 1/2. i guess i would have room for the vho as well... give me a call we can try and make a deal for the vho as well coral and money or all coral either way. 561-385-9205 Todd ..thanks

The VHOs were originally used as supp to metal halide with 2 110Ws running off the icecap 430. then I wired in a third bulb when I used it as the only lighting on a softie tank. So, you could easily wire it back to 2. How many of those frags do you think are the value of the trade?

Thanks,

Joel

Sold to innercirclepro. Nice to meet you Todd. Next time I am up that way I would love see your tank and get some of those plugs from you. Let me know how the "modification of the hood" goes. Should look pretty sweet. The best part about that hood is the front doors opening like they do. Makes feeding and accessing the tank a piece of cake. Oh yeah, check and see what resort your Mom owns at.
