I decided to redesign my LEDs to work on a dimmer and it ended up being easier to start from scratch. So, I'm selling my old fixtures. These are great lights -very intense, cool, and low energy consumption. I have FOUR available. Each fixture is on a heavy duty aluminum heatsink (8x12") and consists of two separate strings of 12 3 watt CREE leds. One string is 12 XPE royal blues. The other string is 4 royal blues, 2 XPG neutral whites, and 6 XPG cool whites. This gives a really nice color and great coral growth.

Each string is operated by a MeanWell PLN-60-48. This is a significantly higher quality driver than normally used with DIY LEDs because it has PFC. This prevents the inrush of current that can be a fire hazard so that you can safely use many drivers that turn on simultaneously.

You also get a 5' cord to connect the light and drivers.

These lights are about 18 months so you should have at least 3-4 more years of high intensity life from them. The FTS is just to show that you get great coral growth from these lights. Almost everything was grown out from frags.

Three is good for a standard 125 - good coverage and enough light for any coral.

Here are two units on an old 125 of mine. These aren't the same units I'm selling (because one is on my frag tank), but you can see how 2/3 of the tank is well lit.

You can see a little shadow in the pic from the center brace that wasn't visible to the naked eye.

A little off topic sorry, but what kind of live rock is in your 125? It looks pretty cool, very minimalist.

Thanks, it was a mix of pukani and some rock from a local reefer. I really liked the layout for the relatively narrow footprint of a 125. Now most of the rock is dry because I had to take down the tank to make room for a baby. Maybe I'll keep it until she is ready for a tank of her own!

Two units are sold and one is pending payment. I have one unit left.

I may post two more later this week (with a little different configuration).

Let me know when you are posting the other two. As long as they will work well on a 125, I maybe interested.
