So first, I'm horrible with coral names and IDing, so if someone can ID that would be great!

Second, I could not capture its true color, so if you wanna come by and see it let me know.... Its skin is like a purple, and its a bubble gum green/lightblue with bubble gum blue (baby blue tips) its colors are very very beautiful, this is the best I could do but it does it like 10% justice... its super flourescent, outshines everything in the tank

I'm looking to keep one piece for myself, wether it be the colony or the frag,

Colony is $45, Frag is $25 either or is for sale, your choice, very nice coral! i'm working on trying to get better pics of it, but if you want to pass by come, its freakin nice!

At the moment thats all i have, waiting for stuff to grow out to cut, this was the quickest grower so it was the first to be ready to be cut, probably nicest one i have in my tank the colors are super nice pops out the most....

I am located right near the bird road stores, (exotic/Strictly/VIP) etc...

*edit: actually have a frag of acans for sale too, about 3 1/2 heads, its a red color... id let it go for $20

Whoever wants to come by and check it out in the tank, i'm open tomorrow from 4:30 - 7 pm est.... FIrst come first serve, if you pay in advance it'll be held for you or I can meet you somewhere if you rather it that way....

looks like a maricultured acro with a broken branch, as far as the species could be one of many.(A.horrida or A.florida)

???????

hmm close i guess it could be that same family, just this one is super intensely colored, those look kind of bland/washed out.... possibly right just different coloration...

+1, no offense but if thats the quickest grower, why are both the bases of the coral newly glued with putty?

because it was on a huge rock, and I was trying to frag a piece, and break off some of the rock it was on at the same time, and instead, it split at the base.... I need to get a wet saw, hammer+chisel not such a precise cut

next time i'll make sure to write out what I ate for breakfast and lunch prior as well lol...

And for precise information since it seems so important, I was attempting to frag a piece, and as a secondary job to the fragging I have been wanting to remove the excess rock from the base. It just so happens that I got a two for one on the first swing with the hammer...

I woke up that morning at around 7:30 am, no breakfast as usual but a nutri-grain bar. For lunch I visited the new Five Guys Burgers n Fries in Doral, and while I was snacking on the Cajun fries I decided hey let me frag a piece of that nice sps I have and remove some of the excess rock from the base so i can finally place it where I want it to go permanently.

Left work around 4:30 with this idea and went straight home to feed my fish, play with my tank and frag the coral.

Nice thx for the information-- But it is very inportant I tell you why.
If you are selling a frag that so called grew in your tank its completely different than a recently bought maricultured sps you just got and are trying to sell as tank grown.

So IMO there's absolutely no new growth in that acro period. And to sell it as aquacultured( grew in my tank) with the expectation that it will keep its color and two that it will survive its IMO false advertising.

Furthermore I bet you 20 people have seen this thread and have considered the same. There's tons of educated reefers around here:thumbsup:

Ahh ok, well in the picture you can't see the colors anyways, but yes, i'll wait a while for verification of color or whatever///

I have to agree with Many here again. A better title would have been, "I bought this maricultured piece and I want to split it with someone."
It's pretty clear there is no new growth on that acro. So your statement of being the fastest grower is false.

Oh and thanks for the recap of your day, if I were you I would eat a better breakfast and skip out on the burger.......since you brought it up.

I'll keep that in mind, but next time, don't have a Latin burger and fries when you meet up with other reefers, you should have a balanced breakfast that way you don't have to eat that burger either, I better see you driving to publix and getting yourself a salad.... Hard to take advice from a fellow burger eater! lol
