Ft: fire fish , glenview ill

My clown fish is harrasing him and chasing him so I would like to trade the firefish for a frag or snail or anything because I dont want the clown to do any harm to him. He nipped his tail and there is a small chunk missing. Hurry take him before my clown does any more damage please!

I might take him, I've heard stories of them co existing with ribbon eels.
I'll let you know after I do some research

hes not the purple or helfrichs' just the regular red firefish.

alright, the clown probably scared him so bad he jumped out of the tank. I came home to find him on floor. :-(

Firefish are well known for jumping... Are you sure he's dead? I've revived many fish by placing them in the tank & moving them back & forth, to push water over their gills.

I put him in the tank as soon as I saw him, but he just sank right to the bottom and floated under a rock. I had to tear apart the whole tank to get him out!
I feel so bad, because I temporarily put him in a shallower coral propagation tank with an open top while I was setting up my 75, didnt think he would suicide in a few days time....
