Gauging interest: My R/C car for your AcJr

I have a nitro 1/10 scale on road car that is getting less used by the week. Its a RS4 3 EVO+ by HPI that supposedly does around 50MPH. I don't have an area large enough to reach that high speed, but it is pretty fun hitting 30-40 on my street and doing some drifting. The car has mostly been in the street and in my backyard. Also it does have scratches on the underbody. The chassis itself is only a few mm off the floor, so it is expected if you use it on the street. The clip that holds a cover for the reciever battery as mysteriously broken off during a run, but using velcro will hold it in.

I will be including batteries, about 1/2 gallon of 20% fuel, fuel bottle, glow starter, original box, manuals, all the accessories it came with, and maybe the tool box. Over $450 was paid for this car and about 12 tanks was put through the engine.

I would like to get a ACJr with the DC8 with or without Ph probe. Haven't really bought any equipment at all lately for my tank since I've been buying livestock :lol:, and so this would be a good addition.

Got it cleaned up yesterday but somehow lost a few screws. Also forgot to mention there is some pins missing that are used to hold the body in but people sell 50 pin packs on ebay for a few $$$.

I am debating whether or not to buy a stainless steel screw kit and include it in the trade but it depends if anyone offers theirs with the DC8 and Ph probe. Paying 28 bucks for a kit just for a few screws is not fun... On to the pics:

Oh no no no. You can trade one hobby for another!!! Thats just not right. Ive got 2 tc3's, P51 .25, spitfire .91 piper cub I think a .60, a trex-450 and a raptor .30, a 180g reef, soon to be 450g, dirtbikes, camping every other month or so, and 'll be headed out on a couple mutilday fishing trips in sept and Oct. Now if you want me to go into my line of avets and progears, I'll be happy to go on all-day!!!

Ok, now wer'e Hijacking!!! Why not Saltigas and trinidads? Ha, Progear is the old school workhorse. Not lookin for Bling!!!. 2 speed avets are Awesome!!! Seekers, got em' Calstars got em too and they rock, but actually I prefer the very modest priced Graphtecs!!! In fact my linup when I go is 2 jx6-3 all spectra w/ 30lb mono, Progear 545 25lb mono, a 975 w/ 20lb for playing with the firecrackers, progear440 40lb, and a sld30II 50lb all mated to Graphtec rods!!!

Well, except the SLD30II thats on a 5'6" cheapy californian

I happen to be a friend of the production manager @ Accurate, so my deals are a bit better then the retail price.

IMO once you've fished an Accurate, you'll never go back. They take a bit to learn to cast, but the dual drags can't be beat........

Unfortunately, I sold most of my gear a few years back, although I still have access to most gear if I decide to go "tuna hunting" again!!!

Accurates are nice fo sure, but you got the hookup, I don't, and BTW you musta fallen into that category of giving up one hobby for another-- MAN WHAT A SHAME!!!

Haha...well its fun but I really need the controller. My manual timer doesnt have the shut off pins. As for fishing I wish I could afford a Penn 2 speed International, but so far my favorite reels that I've used are my Penn 555 and my Shimano TLD20

Na I just got tired of puking..................I've tried everything from the patch to the electronic bracelet to every pill known to man..............Still got sick every trip..............But that feeling of a big tuna pulling on ya.......You can't beat that

Maybe we'll hook up if the albacore or YFT get within 1.5 day range.........................I've got major boat hookups too!

Sorry for the hijack................I used to have a RC-10GT w/ a .18 Trinity Picco motor too!!.........

I can barely afford 1 hobby, so just having another one just unbalances things. I'm down for keeping both hobbies its just that my budget allows for 1 hobby. I spent a good $50 just for a set of tires, rims and some foams that really grip but that came from impulse buying when I should have only walked out of the store with some paint and extra fuel.

I once went on a charter boat to the north side of Catalina with my bro and some cousins, and somehow I had a really bad case of seasickness . That charter was the first one I went on too, so I anticipated it wouldn't rock that bad or make me sick at all...sure showed me. But on my boat I can handle the whole day...even an overnight trip as long as I stay away from the 2-stroke fumes.

wow man you took me back 5 years when i was into 1:10 electric hobby cars i had a HPI rally and a street. But all got stolen when they stole my integra with all my gear from the trunk really sucked lost about $1200 worth of stuff plus my sony 8mm handy cam we would record stuff on. oh well. i wish you luck on the trade.

But havent run any of em in forever, all cars planes and helis hanging on the wall now, except for my e-heli, that Trex450 SE v2 all blinged out man awesome, even with that nostalgic airwolf body!!!

My planned trips are a 3.5day on the BG90 oct 6 and a 5day on Nov6 but yeah, anytime you think you can handle a 1.5day lemme know, I'm in!!!

Sorry about that Franky......................I did a sump/fuge upgrade form 55 gallons to 170 gallons on Saturday & it seems like I spent all day Sunday fine tuning it.................

I also had a TC-3 Electric w/a 7 turn motor....

7 turn electric??? no way nitro all the way. I ran the stock AE .12, crank modded and ported, well a few sleeves and pistons down the line now, and the Outlaw Sirio .15 on the one with all the race hop ups. Used to go out to Crystal Park with some buddies every once in a while mad fun at the track!!!

Way back in the day, I had the E Frog on I cant remember how many turn black label motor and Mugen bulldog (first w/ 4wd and 4w steering)

The heli's are really awesome though, actaully crashed it a whole lot less than the tc3's
