Well, Got the sump built, ER skimmer in, lights installed, sand and rock, and rubble in the sump. Next water. Its getting there.

What is the best Macro to go with? Something that does not require lighting 24/7, won't go sexual, or overgrow to fast. to start out with.

from what i've read, people recommend Chaeto because it doesn't go sexual. you can light it on a reverse cycle from your display to help with PH swings.
I think you actually want it to grow fast. When the macro is growing, that means its pulling bad stuff out of the water, which you can then cut out the macro and remove from the tank, effectivly removing the pollutants from the water.

I completely agree with Matt...I have chaeto for Three years on my fuge and I am pleased with the result it brings-ZERO NITRATES!!!
