Aight here's the official meshwheel results thread for everyone to post their results, good and bad after mesh modding their pumps. If anyone has any issues with them I'd be more than happy to help work through them. If anyone wants help putting together larger venturis we'll do that here too...

Mine is running and the body of the skimmer is just filled with bubbles. Skimming like crazy. I had to really adjust the skimmer, foam was just pouring into the cup. Will post pics soon.

and the Yellow Tang is being aclimated right now. He will be in the 75 gallon Fuge in about 30 minutes, along with the Yellow Mimic Tang. Will give them a few weeks to get used to each other, then they will go into the 215.

Hooked mine back up and bam... BUBBLES out the wazoo... I will most likely have to adjust the water level, downward.

Kent you are the skimmer and pump guru... Had I known you were letting people steal tangs, I'd have taken the purple

Luckily for me my skimmer won't be in use until Feb/Mar. I am sure I'll be able to break a few more things before then.

Looks like there are success stories here. I had no doubt. I wish I could have made it but I don't get to see my son as often as I would like and when I get the chance I take it.

I second Kent as the skimmer guru.

I'm not really the "hugging" kinda guy, And you seemed alright so I don't really want to kick you either. But hey I'll kick Famer or Fade Hey thanks for having us over and showing us how to mod the skimmer wheel!! Kent was and excellent host and answered all questions we fired at the man. It was a very interesting evening, and I can honestly say I've never closed down a joint with the group either. It was nice to meet some reefer's I hadn't meet yet and to put faces with names. I think that the wonderfull Chelsy might have takin' some pics of the evening, maybe she'll post them if so??
