GIRS Feature Tank Volunteers

Please post here if you are interested in having your tank Featured on the GIRS Website. If we have enough volunteers, we will put all these names in a hat and pick from there. This is our first attempt so please bare with is. It will take some commitment on the person who gets picked as we will need a lot of information and a lot of pictures to make this look good and to have this a good learning tool for others. Here is some of what we will need:

Ã"šÃ‚· Introduction of yourself and your hobby background
Ã"šÃ‚· Inhabitantsââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¦ Corals, fish, invertsââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¦list and include pictures if possible
Ã"šÃ‚· The tank informationââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¦include pictures
o Dimensions
o Type
o Sump
o Filtration
Ã"šÃ‚· Water parameters
o Calcium
o Alkalinity
o Ph
o Nitrate
o Phosphates
o Temperature
o Ect.
Ã"šÃ‚· Description of you circulation
Ã"šÃ‚· Description of your lighting and photo period
Ã"šÃ‚· Other equipment
Ã"šÃ‚· Maintenance schedule
Ã"šÃ‚· Feeding
Ã"šÃ‚· Any other information that you think is valuable or you have found helpful
Ã"šÃ‚· Acknowledgmentsââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¦people, websitesââ"šÂ¬Ã‚¦ect.

I will keep this thread open for one week and we will then pick the winner.

Sorry Patrick but I am still confused If you volunteer we will put your name "in the hat" along with the others and pick one next week. If you want to wait until the next go around....that is fine...you just have to let me know about this one. Again...sorry, but this is a yes or a no I will volunteer.

Again..off the subject, but I just got that same coral from my brother the other day I need to get it upstairs in my main tank!

Yep, literally the same coral. Ed and I split it when I first got it.

Maybe I should have kept it and finally paid my $20.00 dues to join GIRS, then I could have submitted my tank to this thread. For those the don't know I am fragging all my colonies this weekend in preperation for my move in July.
