Glass Euro Bracing

I Posted this in the Do It Yourself Forum and never got any responces. Hopefully someone here will be able to give me some answers!

I am looking at converting my large tank over to a Glass Euro Bracing top. Can anyone help me by letting me know what the best way is to go about it? Do the top panels go on the inside of the tank or they laid over the top. Also approximately how wide does the glass have to be? The tank size is roughly 3 feet long X 2 feet wide X 30 inches deep.

I built my own tank with Euro bracing.
The tank is 36" long, 24" wide and, 30" deep.
The braces are on the inside. They are 2" wide and 1/2 inch thick (so is my tank).
The pieces in the front and back go all the way across and go on first.
The two side pieces fit in between the front and back.
You need a lot of braces to hold it all together!
(a competent friend with two helping hands wouldn't hurt either)
Hope this answers your questions....
these pics might also help?

hmm. My 35g Mircles In Glass starfire tank has the eurobracing sitting on the top of the vertical planes. Not sure if it makes a difference tho.

Here is a pic of tanks being braced at Aquariums for you.....
you decide how you want to make the braces.....
It might be easier to just put them on top but....
inside looks better!
