go over my 20g tank list please

hi, i'm going to be setting up a 20g in april, and i want you to tell mne what you think of my setup.

for equipment:
Tank-20g top-fin
Lighting-Fluerescent NO hood-18k
Heater-100watt submersible heater
Subtrate-Tidal Oolotic sand
Salt-Oceanic
Filter-Topfin power filter(i will get a aquamedic miniifloater skimmer in May)
Decor-15-20lbs Live Rock

Fish:
1 Ocellaris clownfish
1 Firefish goby
1 Neon goby
1 Yellow tail damsel

Inverts:
1 skunk cleaner shrimp
1 Mithrix crab
12 Margarita snails
2-3 dwarf zebra hermits.

there may be more invert too

I will do 20% water changes every week

i would consider a diffrent filter maybe a sump and live rock for biological and a good skimmer also i would not go with the damsel they can be quite aggresive and territorial. ihope that helps do some good research there are a lot of good books out there

In my experience people enjoy their clowns more if they get a pair, so if it were my tank I'd get 2 oscellaris.

ok. 1) i can't do a sump. do to space and budget. it would be possible later on to have a pump send water up to one and have it drain to the tank. 2) as for the skimmer. i might be able to go with a coralife. it's possilbe, but maybe not. good idea about the damsel. could i have a chromis, and still get another clownfish?

i would go with the chromis they are cheap and hardy they do good with 2 or more. as for the filter just be sure you rinse the filter media/foam out often but like i mentioned defintely get a good skimmer the coralife should be fine

is the min floater any good? it's done by aqua medic. i heard they are good. also, i will have a hood, so skimmer fits might not be easy.

Not trying to be a Jerk, but have you had the yellow tailed damsel before? I have one now, and I can stand the little bastard. I love my tank, and my fish, but he is mean as heck. I have tried and tried to catch him to return him to the LFS, but he has ESP and knows when I am coming. Be sure you know about their aggressiveness before you add one. Heck, if you come catch mine, I'll give him to you and pay you $20 for gas for the drive over!!
