Gonodactylus bredini

hi, I'm doing a University project on stomatopods, and in perticular Gonodactylus bredini. I was wondering if there was anyone who had some pictures, or information that i could use for this project. the project is based on the use of meral spread display as a tactic for scaring off others who are trying to take their home cavities during their molt period. anything would be a help. thanks.

The genus is no longer Gonodactylus. All New World gonodactylids were placed in the genus Neogonodactylus. However, everything that I have published over the years on this species will be found under "Gonodactylus bredini". I and my students have written several papers on the meral spread display. Two that probably would be most useful are a 1982 paper in the journal Nature by Steger and Caldwell and a paper in Animal Behaviour by Adams and Caldwell (can't remember the year - around 1990). Both of these deal with the meral spread as a bluff.
