OK, so we have a few responses to the complaints about the holders.

In April we will unveil a new magnetic holder for all Tunze products. This will be available in two sizes. The largest size will be capable of holding the 6200 at a very sharp angle on half inch glass with no problems- $75. The second model is for thinner glass, smaller pumps and skimmers/filters or less sharp angles with a small Stream- $40. The prices are approximate but should be accurate.

Also, in April the 6200 will be available and all products will include the long screws for US trim. The inclusion of the long screws will be a slow phase in as we change the manuals and catalogue to reflect the change. Until this time you will need to purchase the seperate set.

They are not ready yet, Probably available in April or May so we still have a while.

Than Tell me please way how to install them my tank is
72"x18"x32" w conopy on each site 18"x18" how I can install them or where I can install them to get good water movment

Thanks

If it is reef ready, clamp the holders to the overflow boix and swivel the pumps to aim at the opposite corner. If it is not, install a hook in the canopy that you can hang the bracket from or better just screw the rail to the canopy. You can also clamp them to the back if your tank has an open back with holder 3000.244 and then angle them to the opposite corner.

Hey Roger,

Which holder would you recommend on 3/4" Euro-Braced glass aquariums?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave,

How wide are the eurobraces?

Keigle,

The holders will likely be OK on 3/4" glass if only a Stream 6000 is used. They are based on the 220.55 Algae magnet which holds through 1.2" glass but when you add the force of a pump it needs to be thinner to really hold.

Roger,

Do you have any pictures or diagrams of the new holders? I have two 6080s in my 150-gallon tank, and I would love a better way to mount them. I attribute a lot of the growth and health of my corals and fish to the water flow created by the Streams.

Roger,

While you're in Germany, fahren Sie über 325 kph auf der deutschen Autobahn für mich bitte.

Axel does all the driving and top speed in a diesel VW 9 passenger van is about 170km/h :)

I am scared of the Autobahn- those people mean business, get in front of someone in a Brabus Benz or RUF Porsche and you better move because they certainly are. With that said, man those roads are beautiful, 1meter thick of just solid concrete and so smooth, no dips, no potholes, perfect.

AND no 55MPh speed limits, :)

but the Germans know how to drive on motorways they overtake then pull in if something else is going faster, not many lane hogs.

Now last time i drove in washington etc, overtake on the left or the right stay in the outside lane who cares!!.

and as for the 65 MPH speed limits now they suck!

Also drove in Arizona and was told 30 Mph over the limit gets you into man sluaghter charges!!! crazy if true

Have a great trip Roger, sample the local beer and tell us all about the new kit ASAP.

I don't know about the Arizona story, I have a friend with a AMG C43 and he went 155 from El Paso TX to the Arizona border and was never stopped. The Germans tell me the same though, it is far more dangerous to drive in the US and I would generally agree, but here I generally know where I am going so I can focus on the yahoos on the road.

I plan to have real time updates from the show if at all possible.

Roger I have porsche 993 and I have driven in Florida from Palm Coast to Jacksonville 173 mil .As your friend said it's much safer to drive in EU if you like high speed

Driving 20mph gets you saturday school and a $175 fine. 30mph over is a felony. Everyone drive 20-25mph over the limit. Heck traffic on the side street run at 65mph and freeways run at 85-95

The speed limit 75 through the desert but most people cruise along at well over 100.

Hey mojodeli, you have the DVD of Once Upon a Time in the West? The DVD transfer looks great, and I loved the extras. Claudina Cardinale back then and Monica Bellucci today. I have to visit Italy someday...

Regarding driving through the desert, there are parts of I-80 in Nevada where I wish my car had flight capabilities.

German driving

I live in Germany, and I think that Germans drive like maniacs, though the autobahn does flow a bit more smoothly than most freeways.
