I'm looking for good yet inexpensive frag disks as well as some good tools for fragging zoos. Any suggestions on where to get a scalpel and some good tweezers? Most of the stuff I have rusts over night.

Most good scalpels and such are going to rust overnight.. Get the good handle with disposable blades, they are quite cheap.. Im Ian. He ordered some awhile back. They were really inexpensive. You can get the plastic handle also if you don't like the weight or cost of a metal one...

Nuuze those frag disks on ebay are a great deal. I think I'm going to pick some up. Thanks for the heads up. But not sure how fragging zoos with a nail clipper would be easy.

Thanks Ian, I think I'm gonna order a dissecting kit.

No problem Cozen89! The frag rocks are even better; I just picked up 50 more. They'll look more natural once they been in the tank awhile.

Not a nail clipper, but it's a nail/cuticle nipper. I didn't believe my wife at first when she bought it for me. I don't know what it's made out of but I even tried to destory it cutting into chunks of live rock to make rubble and it amazes me, it's slices right through. And the best part it doesn't rust shut like all the others I've owned. Best of all, she got it from Sally's Beauty Supply for $4!

Dave the one thing you need to think about with frag disks is that the ceramic ones you do not need to cure. With all others you should cure. This is more for if you ever plan on adding a bunch of disks to your system at once.

I soak the ones from oceanswonders. What does curing them do? Get's the chemicals out of them?

supposedly they are precured and made of natural reef sand. So that sounded ok to me. I will probably have to try out a few before I find something I really like. Yeah, I probably shoud've gotten the ree rocks. DOH! oh well.
