good point and shoot camera

i'm in the market for a new digital camera. i don't want an slr camera because i think my wife would just be frustrated with it. i'd like to take some nice pictures of my tanks, so i need some suggestions.

does anyone use a canon s2 is? this looks like a good camera for the price. 12x optical zoom.

My dad has the canon S1 IS and its a great camera, so I would assume the S2 IS would be better. In general, I would recommend any cannon camera to anyone as they are just great cameras weather its a point and shoot or an DSLR.

Lots of people use that camera- do a search with "S2IS" in this forum and you'll get all the previous threads covering that model.
