I thought the baby maxs were $60? Did they up the price?

I am tempted to see if I can sell them clams for credit... maybe I will just order online and sell them some. No way they're doing some super 600% mark up from wholesale!

MARKUP

MARKUP

Baby gold max might be $60.00. Good luck trying to get any good deals out of them, you might get 5 or 10 for a clam if your lucky. Im not sure about the markup, i used to work there a couple years ago and they had a large markup then (But still reasonable), some new staff now. Here's an example- when i worked there yellow branching porites was $50.00-$60.00, now same coral with half the tissue (half dead) for $130.00 / 3"-4" crocea $70.00 - $80.00 , now same crocea $150.00 +.
Friends and i used to stop by to check out their $5.00 bin (damaged coral but some salvageable), now all they thow in there are skeletons. Actualy went into debate about if a coral had life on it (does algae count ?).

Know of any good online stores for baby clams? Thanks:OJsreef

Looks like someone saw this thread, Aquarium Centers clam prices just went down. Maybe we should start a LFS Basher/Praiser forum, could improve service and live stock care/quality. Who knows might even drop some of those fruity super mark up prices by a couple hundred %. LOL... Picture that!
Thanks:OJsreef

P.S. I'll be posting pics of their $130.00 yellow branching Porites. Might get four frags out of it, it's only missing half its tisue.

Got those yellow porites pics for ya!

What do you think?
