Grafting Scolys

Have anyone seen the thread by uniquecorals about grafting scolys?. It sounds very interesting.

Yes I too have seen some info concerning grafting scoly's...

They said it transmits genes when they are cut and glued together, by doing this the scolys obtain new color on them. If anyone does this on their own make sure the scolys are the same size. I wonder if we can do the same thing with chalices that are in the same family.

I tried it with 3 different caps. One died off. The others are growing away from each other...starting to get multiple shelves..

its not wild it was grafted in the wild.

Nice article, I consider the process of grafting to be one of the coolest things in the hobby.
