Gray electrical PVC still tank safe?

I was at lowes looking at stuff for my new tank project and I was wondering if the gray electrical pvc is still tank safe and if it can be used with normal PVC solvent?

Its a nice gray and has nice smooth flow saving bends that would be nice to use in my plumbing if it is okay?

I have have used is it in my tank, no problems that I can attribute to it's use, more than 3 years now, regular PVC adhesive works just fine.

I agree with kgolem.

I've read many threads where this type of PVC was used in aquarium diy projects. I haven't read any where there was a problem.

Most of the MJ Mods are built using the electrical PVC as well.

Good luck with your project.

they have the wide bends in regular white pvc as well

they are called easy bends or smooth bends or something like that.
