Green Galaxia

I have had a Green Galaxia LPS in my reef for over a year. It's doing great. It even "spread" to the rock I originally had it on so now I have a baby Galaxia as well. They are both doing great ang growing at a steady rate. I never read anything about these beautiful coral and most told me that it wouldn't last long in my reef when I got it. Does anyone have one of these or any experience with it. I don't really feed it, was wondering if other people do. Seems like it is doing pretty good on it's own.

I have had mine for about 5 years now. Just don't let it get to close to other corals or you can kiss them good bye.

I have had mine for three months---still can't figure out what lighting needs it prefers. I kept it at all heights--still remains the same size--but good colour--just doesn't increase in size.

Mine really started to grow well when I switched to Tropic Marin Pro Reef salt...it also helped tremendously when I switched to T5 HO lights from Power Compacts.

I have mine under VHOs and in medium flow and it is doing awsome. Its grown a lot since i got it and its only been about 3 months. I have it about half way up in the tank.

Capn, check your calcium they need a good amount to build there skeletin and grow.

my calcium levels are great 450-500. I am running a coralife canopy with twin 150 w 10,000 k halides and 96 watt attinics.
The galaxy is about half up the tank---should I move it to the top of the tank?
