green slimer turning purple

my green slimmer turning to purple blue on tops and going deep down,anybody w/simular experiance?what should I expect.After taking 20+shots BAD shots,I called my friend for another lens,tomorow will post pictures.

I agree...I think what everyone calls Green Slimer is Acropora yongei, and the coral in the photos don't look like the typical yongei.
 
Bali green slimer is ac. yongei, yes. And it doesn't look right to me. The organization looks different from mine (which is indisputably bali green), plus bali green almost never retracts polyps, no matter what you do to it. It just slimes.
 
Just to interject,

i have a "Bali Green slimmer" and my tip is beginning to turn purple, almost looks 'bruised', so it can happen.

It may be from my P14, i will change them in June.
 
It looks more like an A. abrolhensis... And those do indeed have blue/purple tips....
