Green Star Polyps

Hi Guys

I have some Green Star Polyps covering a piece of Rock.

I have had them for 6 months. However over the last few weeks a few gaps have been appearing on the rock, as if some of the polyps have dissapered.

Any suggestions as to why or what could be doing it.

Man I wish I can make green star polyps or any kind of corals. It sure would save me some money.
