greenex and clam

anyone used greenex on a tank with clams in it before? if so how did it affect the clams.

Don't try it.Greenex is not reef safe.It is not safe with any inverts.Why do you need to add Greenex?

"Invertebrate Safe".

I have used it on a 72 with no ill noticeable effects on anything, except for the target pests (I have 3 Maximas)

greenex has never worked in a good enough way for me to risk my clams or anything else in my tank. it just aint worth it.

thanks for the response guys. saw a thread about treating flat worm with greenex, but none of the people in the thread had clams. i will do more research on the topic. of course chemical warfare is always a last resort.
