If you thought that $120 was a good price for a RBTA, then you should be grateful that you didn't bring more money!...other than at a couple of stores in Greenwich, a small RBTA should not be over $50.

I agree that price is high. Check the other stores for better prices next time. Last week I was at Aqua Dreams and he had a couple more towards the rainbow colors for about $100 each I believe. That was before discounts.

If you were out of state add in the toll's you didn't save anything
Anemones on this side of the pond aren't that high $$$
Albano is correct

All Pets Club has them listed at $150, but with the club discount, which has to be paid for as well, it is 119.99. That is at a place that buys in greater volume and pays less for rent per sq ft, and has multiple locations.

GA is worth the trip just to see the red carpet anemone and yellow mags in their large display. Though they must have had issues with the corals in the tank, because last time I was there they were all gone.

They're redoing the front display but no ETA on that (that carpet is drool-inducing, as is the giant ritteri in the back). They just had a sale this weekend and when that happens the prices on fish and coral are quite reasonable - 30% off or so. Top it off that they've got knowledgable staff and a good selection of frags and it's worth a trip, imo. I live in Norwalk so it's not a stretch on the travel budget.

Wow 150 seems steep for a rbta. maybe its because im not too used to retail prices. I still wouldve thought a small rbta would be like 60-80 retail?
