Groud shipping for LR?

After a lot of thread reading, I have decided to order some LR for my new tank. Some LR vendor provide groud shipment. Will it be ok? Do I really need to have those LR shipped via overnight?
Your opion is greatly appreciated!

well it depends on where you live and what shipper the vender is using. I just bought 75 lbs from Premium Aquatics and they said that I was close enough for UPS to do two day it was only $50 shipping ( that saved me alot!). And the rock looks great, but I live 20 mins from ATL.

I had mine shipped ground and plenty of stuff lived.

I ordered live rock from Florida and shipped it ground. According to the FedEx tracking it took four days to get to Texas. While it was moist it was not overly soaked when it arrived. That was three weeks ago and I am still cycling the rock. If you want to put it in the tank quickly dont do ground b/c you will have to wait at least a month before you can put it in the tank.

Yea I ordered some live rock from a dealer that did ground for me and that ment over night because the place was close to me in a different county though, It arrived the next evening and everything was fine for me, I ended up curring the rock for 3 weeks and after I put in my tank
