Growing but not Spreading

How do I get my mushrooms, orange muscles, and xenia to multiply instead of just growing larger?

From my experience, my ricordea grow big then the split. I let them split on they're own. Some people cut, I'm scared.

You can cut it if you cannot wait, or just wait and someday it will split.

I'm not sure what an "orange muscle" is, but for the other 2:

Mushrooms can be cut in half. Use a small blade like an exacto knife to get under the shrooms foot and peel it off the rock. Then take a sharp razor blade and cut it in half or quarters, preferably getting some mouth and some foot on each piece (I've heard that it's actually more important to get some foot on each piece than the mouth). Affix the pieces to some LR rubble with superglue, loose netting, or IMO the easiest way is to place the pieces in a small cup with LR rubble and put in a low flow area. The pieces should eventually attach.

Xenia can be done the same way... Peel up the mat they are attached with, cut so that each piece has some mat and some polyps and then attach with superglue or some fishing line threaded through the base and tied around the plug.

I have heard of doing things like this. But I dont know some of the wording. What is LR rubble and IMO?

LR rubble = Live Rock rubble. Small pieces of LR that you can attach the frags to. Can be purchased for a couple of bucks a pound from a LFS if you don't have any.
