Gyre recommendations needed

Thinking of going to Gyre type flow for my 125 mixed reef. Looking for manufacturer and size help. Thanks in advance!!

I have as well 2 of the xf250 in my 250 and I run then max 40 percent any more I have a storm

I have 2 250s in a standard 125. I have played with a bunch of settings, but I prefer the LTC set at 40%.

I'm happy with them.

I have a maxspect gyre xf150 that I bought used recently for my corner 92 curved aquarium, seems good so far.

I have one on mine on one side and a RW-15 on the other. Will be buying the next one to replace the RW-15.

I really like the OGC mode. Can you guys share what mode you are using with the original Controller?.

Placement of these seam to be generally one on each side panel to create a gyre going the length of the tank. I'm curious if anybody has placed them on the back panel, to create a gyer going back to fount????

I use a pair of maxspect gyre xf250 as well for my 120DT. One on either side of my center overflow. They are set to max out at 60%. Any more than that and a bit of water runs down the front.

Love the flow. PIA to clean the first couple times but then becomes easy. You just have to keep the parts in order and reassemble them correctly. At least IMO, worth the $
