My hammer is starting to turn white.Any one got any advice on why it might be doin this?

Yes. It's bleaching. Its most likely not getting enough light. What kind of lighting do you have?

Right now I only got 2 250 halides and 320 pc 03's, I'm waiting on another bulb so I can put the 3rd 250 on it. I just transfered all my livestock from a125 to the 180 and the tank is a little taller than the last one. I wasn't sure if it was from to much or not enough. It's currently at the middle so I'll move it up and see how it does. Thanks!!!

what is the kelvin temp of the MH? If it survives it will start looking dirty. Brown spots will start showing up all over it. This is a good sign. It will take a long time for its color to come back and it may never look like it did when you baught it.

14 k is the kelvin and it just started to do this after the transfer to the larger tank. It's been in the other for atleast 3 months and was doin great. I've moved it up now and gave it a little more flow, I hope this helps!
