hang on overflow boxes

Does anyone use these? and if so what do they think about them?I have a 220 yes drilling it it better but i myself am not drilling it and not having any luck getting of the lfs to do it so i might have to use overflow boxes. Any input would be great, brand size, fair ,ok good,ect. thanks

Make sure you get the Life Reef style overflow (they are the ones with a U-tube) , they are very reliable and have few problems. The CPR overflows need an extra pump to remove air bubles and I have heard of them causeing many floods.

i had them on my 72bf.. i wont do it again.. i had a problem with the filters getting plugged sometimes and then overflowing my tank. plus they were noisy. couldnt you just take your tank to a glass shop and have them do the drilling. i would recommend looking into that b4 settling on the hang on overflows
