Hanging light rack

Hello all, about to start building my new light rack, and I need options on how to hang.

Ceiling is okay, wall is okay, just has to look good.

Wife likes both, prefers ceiling, but one requirement is that where it mounts to the ceiling it has to have those caps like pendants have.

Suggestions?

Oh, base for the reflectors is going to be made out of angle aluminum so needs to attach to that too..

this wouldn't work for many applications but I used a mounting arm from a ceiling mounted projector that was being replaced at work. you could use multiple ones for larger builds. people often throw them out at computer recycling centers. not a great photo, but here's a photo.

quick question mgrmax.. How long is the Y section? Or should I say how wide can the 2 points be spread apart? I don't see that info anywhere, light rack is going to be about 13" wide.

What kind of screws being used to hang these fixtures with? Are the ceilings made out of sheetrock?
