hanging stream & closed loop

I am having a tank built which will be 1 inch acrylic with a perimter top of lets say 3 inches. (not sure what bracing this is called)

1 inch is too thick for the magnets - so does anyone have pictures on how to hang the tunze stream 6000s with this type of setup

Also/alterntainvely - does tunze make water pumps with the same electronic control and output features that I could instead go with a tunze closed loop.

I currently use two 6000s with 7095 and will find it difficult to not have this type of control and flow.

please advise

You would either have to drill the acrylic brace at the top so you can use the clamp holders or use the 3000.26 extension to fashion an L bracket that goes under the brace and then down. We make large pumps but they are not controllable.

Yes they are - but I am told by the man that they will not work except in a stright shoot and I have to shoot them using angle

Are you sure the magnets wont work? Those Tunze magnets are strong.

well then - we shall see -

I have never tried, I just can tell you what the factory recommends.

You can angle them. You attach a round bracket to the stream and a hook to the magnet then when you mount the stream on the magnet you can swing it left and right.

not sure we are on the same page - you mean the standard hook (albiet extended version) which allows the tunze to be pointed in angles from the magnet set - yes - but the issue is that the tunze torque when swishing at an angle is too much for the tunze magnets hold with thick tank - if it were set straight it would be only forcing against the glass directly not tending to push along the glass ... which may make the tunze lose the magnetic hold

probably confused the issue - oh well

must be a fairly large tank at 1" thickness so is there any way to incorporate the tunze Deco Rock. Not only would it solve you hanging problem but has a nice look too:)

Just a thought

no its a 120
