Harlequin Tusk?

There is a good chance that the H Tusk will eat any shrimp, crabs and snails in the tank. Probably wouldn't bother the clam though.

Not to fast, most wrasse grow slow. They don't have the fast rate as some triggers, angel or tangs. They maxout at about 8"-10".

Awful filthy fish to keep in a reef tank that demands optimum water quality for long term success. Doing things that contradict each other will cause you headaches due to the future problem solving you are embarking on.

There isn't any difference of having a HTusk then any other fish, outside of an eel, of putting additional waste into your system. Actually depending on what type of reef you have, sps, LPS or softies, it's good to have fish in the tank as coral tend to color up more with fish than without.

Yes as long as the HTusk isn't small enough for the Lion to eat they'll do good together.

Also if your going to get one get an Aust. HTusk. As they do better, eat right away, and are less shy. The other ones have problesm and a lot of them die. So spend the extra $$$ and you'll get the better fish in the long run.
