Has anyone thought of a 2nd chamber for a kalk reactor?

About to build my kalk reactor (again) out of 5" PVC, I'm wondering, would there be any advantage to building a second chamber ?

First chamber would be used for mixing, water would eventually flow into the second chamber. I assume that if any kalk residue entered, that it would drop to the bottom of the 2nd chamber. Then 'pure kalk water' would exit the 2nd chamber.

Just curious. It'd be easy to make.

I made a double chamber kalk reactor, as long as I was making one I went ahead and made it a double, it helps make sure that straight kalk wont get in the tank. I used 4" I.D. tube so I coul just use test plugs for the tops.

My DIY kalk reactor actually has 3 chambers.

#1 R/O water, auto-filled with a float valve

#2 Kalk and mixing pump

#3 Pure kalk water to draw from

The kalk drip is controlled by a solenoid on the reactor, and a float switch in my sump. It gets mixed for 5 mins. at noon each day, and drips only from midnight till 11:59am as needed, until the float switch turns it off.
