Hawaiian feather duster

I bought a Hawaiian feather duster Monday and while I was doing the 3 hr drip acclimation it was coming in and out of his tube. After I placed it in the tank it opened up a few times but has been closed since. I'm wondering if it's just trying to adjust to its new environment or if there is something else going on.

This is what ive always experienced with feather dusters, my theory is that the worm is gluing itself to the rock... After a day or so it should come back out nice and happy

And don't be alarmed if he loses his crown, it happens, a lot.

Mine did take a day to get happy in his spot, especially since my mithrax kept dragging it behind the rocks and I had to pull him out twice. Now he is open almost all the time and seems happy. I make sure it gets some plankton or rotifer when I am spot feeding the coral.

Yes if he still has his feathers, he's probably not that bad off.
